Day 10 of the itinerary - Day 13 of the itinerary
Day 10: Sugar Loaf Mountain
After breakfast you will visit the statue synonymous with Brazil, Rio’s Christ Redeemer. From here you will have a view over all of Rio including the Copacabana Beach and Sugar Loaf Mountain. The rest of your group will then transfer to the airport for their return flight home, but you will be transferred to Sugar Loaf Mountain. You will begin with a short hike along a forest trail. From here you will take a cable car up to Sugar Loaf summit. Here, at 395m above the city you will enjoy the breathtaking view of Guanabara Bay. This afternoon you return to your hotel for some free time and to relax. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 11: Tijuca National Park
Today you will drive to the Tijuca National Park, dotted with waterfalls and inhabited by many species of monkeys and birds. You will take a 2½hr trek, where along the way you will visit; the Chinese View – a famous look-out point used by the Chinese; Emperor’s Table – an ancient Portuguese Emperors capital; and Taunay Cascade. You can take a rest at the summit, at 3300ft. You will then return to your hotel for a free afternoon. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 12: Beach morning and international departure
Today you have a free day to relax on the beach. You will the transfer out to Rio de Janeiro airport for your
return flight.
Day 13: Arrive Home
Arrive in the UK.

Please note that this extension is subject to minimum numbers and flight availability and should be booked no later than 10 weeks prior to departure. In some cases, a surcharge may need to be applied in which case we will inform you prior to confirming your booking. Full payment must be received no later than 8 weeks prior to departure or your place on the extension may be cancelled. All bookings will be confirmed no later than 6 weeks prior to departure.
The advertised costs for this extension are per person on twin sharing basis. If you are a solo passenger, We will accommodate you in a room with someone of the same sex.
