10 reasons to do a charity challenge...
Welcome to Charity Challenge and communitychallenge.
Our website is packed with adventurous overseas expeditions and teambuilding challenges aimed at pushing you to the limit whilst raising vital funds for charity.
Visit new countries, experience other cultures, improve your fitness and realise your dreams whilst raising vital funds for charity.
Our expeditions include treks, mountain bike rides, mountain climbs, white water rafting, sailing, horse riding & communitychallenges. They take place in Africa, the Caribbean, Asia, Europe, and the Americas and they cover three different difficulty levels, ensuring there really is something for everyone.
communitychallenges involve one week teambuilding experiences in the developing world, helping to address some of the world’s most pressing issues.
They often provide a life changing experience for the participants and the people helped by the charity. Over the past seven years, we have helped thousands of people to achieve amazing personal goals and in the process raise millions of pounds for their chosen charities. We are very proud of this accomplishment and with your help, hope
to raise millions more for these very worthwhile causes.
Charity Challenge has been officially recognised for our efforts in the developing world, making a positive contribution to communities in desperate need. Highly commended in the Virgin Holidays Responsible Tourism Awards 2007, in the category of Best Tour Operator for Poverty Reduction, we were commended for our work helping to raise in excess of one million pounds for Habitat for Humanity Great Britain through our house building communitychallenges in Sri Lanka, South Africa, China and India. The Virgin Holidays Responsible Tourism Awards, now in its fourth year, aims to recognise individuals, companies and organisations in the travel industry that are making a significant commitment to the culture and the economies of local communities. To date, communitychallenge participants have helped to build more than 400 houses, in five countries across three continents, helping those often living without access to running water, electricity or proper sanitation facilities.
