"Now we are back to reality I feel I have to write and thank Charity Challenge for our excellent trek on the Great Wall of China and the extension to see the Terracotta Warriors. The organisation cannot be faulted, and the trek ran like clockwork throughout. Our accommodation was really good and the food was amazing. Our Chinese guides were really knowledgeable and supportive, it was brilliant and I will remember my time in China with very fond memories."
Julia Hollimould, Great Wall Discovery, 19th April 2008

"I have recently returned from the Make-A-Wish Thailand trip. I can honestly sum this trip up in one word AMAZING. From the start the trip was brilliantly executed from the moment we arrived at the airport to the when we arrived at the jungle"
Chantal Panto, Thailand Jungle Expedition, 2nd February 2008
"We had such a wonderful time in Cuba - the people, the culture, the vibrant atmosphere in Havana and Trinidad and the lush scenery through the mountains - it was an experience I will remember for a long time! I have made some good friends as well and will definitely sign up for another Charity Challenge!"
Dami Jaiyesimi, Escambray Encounter, 19th October 2007

Hannah Rodger, Great Wall Discovery 29th September 2007
"It was the most amazing and humbling experience. I met some wonderful people and spent 9 days totally oblivious to the rest of the world. I haven’t laughed so much in ages!"
Colleen Tucker-McMeeking, Great Wall Discovery, 7th October 2007
"What an amazing time we had! How privileged we felt being allowed into the lives of the Peruvian people and if heaven exists on earth then it surely must be where we trekked. Both Kevin and I thoroughly enjoyed the trek, it was excellently organised."
Pat James, Trek to Machu Picchu, 5th October 2007
"I just want to say a big thank you to Charity Challenge as I had an amazing time in China. The whole event was very well organised and everyone had a great time. Our guide was fantastic, so helpful and approachable. The trip flowed nicely and my only complaint is that it went too fast! I have already started to think about saving up to self fund the Mt Kilimanjaro trip."
Kerry McGrath, Great Wall Discovery, 8th September 2007
"When I told my family of my intentions I received considerable opposition. They said that old ladies – I was born in 1934!- shouldn’t be doing this sort of thing. I should leave it to the youngsters. But, wanting to help my local Hospice and being a pretty fit great-grandmother, I ignored their protests and went ahead.
The help and guidance I received from Charity Challenge was excellent. They supplied a full itinerary giving day-to-day details of what to expect. They emphasised the difficulties which I would encounter, high temperatures, rocky terrain, lack of modern sanitation, long distances to be covered on foot,- nothing was glossed over. Pre-trek training was underlined and details of the necessary documentation and vaccinations were clearly described.
The organisation of the trek was very good – from the meeting up at Heathrow, the flight to Nairobi and the transfer to Tanzania, the daily arrangements on the actual trek itself – all worked very smoothly.
I am so glad that I ignored my family’s adverse comments and went ahead with the trek. My thanks to Charity Challenge for giving me the opportunity to both help my local St. Helena Hospice and to have such an informative and fascinating eight days in Northeast Africa."
Jean Blackwell, Footsteps of the Maasai, 8th June 2007
"I would just like to say that i have just return from the CLIC Sargent Great Wall trek and I had the most fantastic time and only joined the trek 10 days before going. All my fundraising was done before i went, (I don't know how, one mad rush) and sorted out my own visa and through the skin on my teeth got on the trip. I want to thank everyone at Charity Challenge for helping my."
Donna Evans, Great Wall Discovery, 19th May 2007
"The trek was a fantastic, achievable challenge and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone - you meet friends for life and penetrate the surface of a lost civilisation, with informative, local guides to tell you more than any guide book!"
Nicola Stubbs, Trek to Machu Picchu 13th April 2007
