The challenge

  • Challenging two day cycle ride hosted by Barbara Gelb, Chief Executive of Children’s Hospices UK
  • Cycle 90 miles over two days from Oxford to Eltham
  • Welcome breakfast hosted by Sister Frances Dominica, founder of the first children’s hospice
  • Champagne celebration on completion of your challenge

Your challenge begins at Helen & Douglas House in bustling Oxford.  Sister Frances Dominica, founder of the first children’s hospice will host a delicious breakfast to kick start the trip.

The team will navigate its way into the leafy suburbs and through the Oxfordshire countryside.  You will then head towards Reading avoiding all the major roads and after crossing the Thames twice, you will finish the first day in Chertsey.

The second day is slightly less arduous but you are now heading into the big smoke!  The route heads towards Epsom, past Crystal Palace and then finishes at Eltham for a well earned Champagne celebration.
