Survive the Wild Challenge Series

Bear_Grylls_Survive_the_Wild.jpg

Pitch yourself against a series of survival challenges in the wilds of Dartmoor, the South Downs or the Brecon Beacons.

Designed by Bear Grylls and his Survival Academy team, with locations in some of the most challenging terrain in the country, you’ll have to overcome challenges of mental agility, decision making under pressure, strength and stamina, and dealing with fear, cold, wet and heights!

You’ll be working in teams of ten against three other teams to overcome a number of challenges over the course of the day, on a varied terrain including cliffs, mountains, rivers, lakes and dense forest.

Bear Grylls Survive the Wild

In order to get to the extraction point, you will have a number of obstacles (depending on location) to tackle including some map and compass work, navigation, scrambling, water crossings (raft building, rope crossing, swimming and cliff jumping), abseiling, climbing, rope traverse, emergency survival shelter building, rescue fire lighting, and what Bear Grylls Survival Academy wouldn’t be complete without a ‘gross eat challenge’.

Have you got what it takes?

Your goal is simple – survival, reaching the extraction point for rescue by your deadline, and doing it as efficiently and effectively as you can to outscore your opponents!

“Everything I have learnt about business was first learnt from the wild – trust, risk management, going that extra mile, dynamic teamwork, & honest communication. There is nothing like trying to light a fire or cross a river to force you to re-engage some left brain initiative and right brain ‘calm in the storm.” Bear Grylls
