When it comes to joining a Charity Challenge, motives come in all shapes and sizes and usually require great courage. The inspiration to sign up may be a recent divorce, a bereavement, a landmark birthday or just the desire to break the mould and do something different.
Whatever it is that you aimed to achieve at the start, is usually accompanied by a whole lot more by the end: unforgettable memories, improved fitness, weight loss, lasting friendships, a huge sense of achievement and much, much more.
Every Charity Challenge inspires a story and we’d love you to share yours with us and our followers.
Nothing inspires someone to join up to a Charity Challenge more than hearing about the first hand adventures of former participants. We'd love to hear all about your experiences on our expeditions, so we can share your stories with our growing and enthusiastic community. Please consider sharing your story or any tips for others on our Facebook page, Twitter account, write a blog, upload your images to Instagram, or send us your YouTube videos.
If you have travelled with Charity Challenge before, you will automatically become a member of our loyalty club and get access to even greater discounts on equipment and clothing. Furthermore, you will be at the front of the queue when we announce details of our latest challenges or ideas and concepts for new expeditions – and have first refusal on the first departure dates. We are keen to reward your loyalty so keep an eye out for loads of unique offers.
The dynamics that develop on a challenge are unmatched by any team building courses and often participants form lifelong bonds with their fellow participants. You’re sharing a common goal and experience, and all in aid of a cause that you are passionate about. As such, returning groups are often keen to reunite, share stories and photos and reminisce about the trip. Please feel free to contact us if you would like help planning a reunion.
The absolute BEST DAY for me was reaching Machu Picchu via the Sun Gate along the Inca trail...that was outstanding and something I’ll never forget! Thanks for an unforgettable experience.

The Stok Kangri Trek is the Ultimate Challenge. I was blown away by the scenery, the food, the people and the varied nature of this trip. From white water rafting, to crossing a river in a wooden box, to using crampons and an Ice Axe in action for the first time, to celebrating at the Taj Mahal. This Trek will stay with you forever - the best Charity Challenge experience I have had to date!! Roll on Trek no.7!

Amazing trek! The Himalayas are unbelievably beautiful and the people who live out there are genuinely lovely. It really makes you stop and think about the important things in life when you are living in a tent thousands of miles away from home. Do it- you won't regret it!

A truly challenging and wondrous cycling adventure! Full of culture and beautiful vistas; at the end of each day, your feet are dirty, your hair is messy and your eyes are sparkling!
Lina Tsakiris
The challenge was truly that, the scenery was amazing and different from all I've seen before; food, over night stays, wildlife awesome; and the native people were just wonderful - what more could you ask for!

Charity Challenge has provided a way of experiencing Burma that gives a true impression of nature and gives an insight into how people in Burma live in rural communities.
David Tigwell
A fantastic but tough challenge. A rewarding experience with fantastic scenery and made all the better for meeting such great friends along the way.

The Simien Mountains contain some of the most spectacular scenery I've ever seen - it just got better and better.
Dan Salmons
The unforgettable vastness of The Sahara - the vivid red sunsets that covered miles on the western horizon and not forgetting the fun we had racing down the sand dunes!
Ali Cork
What an experience! It was truly magical and unforgettable, from beginning to end. Cycling gave us the chance to see the real India: the more we saw it, the more we wanted to see.
Lydia Bright
This was a fantastic way to get under the skin of India. The entire challenge exceeded expectations.

This was the toughest physical endurance event I have ever done, but in the end it was well worth it and so satisfying to complete. The guides and organisation were brilliant and kept everyone going with their humour and knowledge of the area. It is something I would highly recommend.
