Oxfordshire Association for the Blind provides support to anyone in the county affected by sight loss. The charity began in 1877 and now supports around 3,000 people annually, with the help of over 100 volunteers. Our services include: the provision of information, advice and equipment; social and emotional support (such as social/sporting groups, home visiting, support for families/carers, and counselling); technology training; a programme for children, young people and families; and awareness training. We also run an Advisory Desk at the Oxford Eye Hospital, offering support at the time of diagnosis. We run Oxfordshire’s only visual impairment resource centre and are the only organisation of our type in the county. Our work is strongly supported by the Eye Hospital, statutory services, and many other organisations. Our vision is a society in which visually impaired people are accepted, included and able to contribute in a meaningful way. We are fully inclusive – our services are free of charge and available to everyone who needs them.

Oxfordshire Mind helps over 30,000 people with mental health challenges every year. They promote good mental health through the provision of high quality services and campaigning for positive change. Their services include housing, talking therapies, benefits advice, a confidential and free information line, courses (such as ‘practical ways to wellbeing’), physical activity programmes, volunteering opportunities, and they facilitate over 60 peer-support groups each week.

Through a method of support called Conductive Education, we teach life-changing skills such as sitting, standing, walking, speaking all in an environment where our children and adults can have fun, develop friendships and feel like they belong!

Pahar Trust Nepal helps to improve the standard of schools and education in the remote and impoverished areas of Nepal’s Himalayan foothills. For over 30 years, the Trust has delivered 250 individual projects and 656 classrooms, rebuilding many schools that were destroyed or damaged by the 2015 earthquake. The schools built by Pahar Trust Nepal are safe, secure and earthquake resistant, and equipped with updated resources and facilities, benefitting over 40,000 students in some of the world's poorest areas.

Leading veterinary charity, PDSA, provides free veterinary care to the sick and injured pets of people in need and promotes responsible pet ownership. The charity operates through a UK-wide network of 48 Pet hospitals.

The Peace Hospice cares for people living with a life limiting illness and supports their families from across South West Hertfordshire. It provides inpatient care, day care, an outpatient service, physiotherapy, art therapy, a hospice at home service as well as bereavement support for adults and children all free of charge.The Hospice needs to raise £4.2 million of charitable income this year in order to run and develop its services.

Peeps provides support to anyone in the UK touched by HIE (Hypoxic-Ischaemic Encephalopathy). HIE is a lack of oxygen to the brain that can cause injury. We offer practical, emotional and financial support, including (but not limited to) free parent packs for those at the start of their HIE journey. counselling / trauma therapy, equipment funding, peer support, information and so much more.

PAF Was set up in January 2012 Education is a huge focus for the charity especially since in 2000, only 45% of the population in Bangladesh was considered literate, and an estimated 25% of 6 to 10 year olds were not in school. The charity aims to provide access to clean drinking water, housing, education and other basic needs which are unobtainable for many of the poor and destitute in Bangladesh. As well as providing immediate relief through distribution of blankets and water pump installations in the home.
