CALM is an independent local charity for the Swindon area supporting families who have a child with cancer. Established in 1984, CALM is run by parents who are all volunteers. Its aims are to improve quality of life for the child and provide financial and emotional support to the families.

Cancer Fund for Children is here for children and young people diagnosed with cancer or living with a parent with cancer. Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions. Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) aims to reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD) by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young. By supporting CRY you will help save young lives from these potentially fatal cardiac conditions. Stays vary from after school for tea and play a few hours, a weekend or even a couple of weeks, while family get a much needed break.   Child Bereavement UK helps families to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. We support children and young people (up to the age of 25) when someone important to them has died or is not expected to live, and parents and the wider family when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying. We provide training to professionals in health and social care, education, the emergency services and the voluntary and corporate sectors, equipping them to provide the best possible care to bereaved families.
