WE CURRENTLY WORK WITH OVER 2000 UK AND IRISH REGISTERED CHARITIES.

Some of our challenges are operated exclusively in aid of one particular charity, but where you see the words “in aid of any charity”, you can raise funds for any cause that you feel passionate about, as long as they are a UK or Irish registered charity, and they authorise you to fundraise in their name.

We will help to get the authorisation for you to fundraise, so choose from one of the many charities on our database, or if you don’t find them listed, you can give us some contact details when you book and we’ll get in touch with them about becoming a charity partner.

Please type in the name (or part of the name) of the charity below in the ‘search term’ field below. If the name is a direct match, it will appear at the top of the results list. i.e. if you type Cancer, Cancer UK will appear towards the top of the results, British Cancer UK will appear lower down, and The UK Foundation of Lung Cancer Charities will appear even further down. So please try the exact match for the first few words to make it easier to find your charity. If you type a search term that is not in the name of the charity, but is in the description about the charity, it will appear after all of the above named results.

Based in the church building in the heart of Radford, Coventry, St Francis Employability is a registered charity that offers a wide variety of activities aimed at supporting the community closer to meaningful engagement in education and employment as well as supporting those in living a thriving and fulfilling life. Within our building we offer a work club with a computer area, as well as support with job search, cv writing and job application forms. We offer community support which can be support with anything from benefit applications, school applications, bills, form filling, and much more. We provide ESOL lessons and skills training with a creche facility. We have a community café area which serves breakfast and lunch throughout the week and offer volunteering placements in a variety of roles with additional opportunities to join friendship groups. On a weekly basis we have over 300 people engaging in these services and accessing support and approximately 40 volunteers on our rota at a time. We also offer food support which was initially a response to coronavirus pandemic and lockdown in March 2020. In the first instance it was set up to address the immediate food poverty and it has since grown and we have been able to develop this model to form a social supermarket, which not only provides food support, but also looks at underlying issues such as financial hardship and unemployment, with the aim of supporting and moving people towards independence. Since the beginning of our food support offer, we have issued over 1600 foodbank parcels to those in need and 1120 social supermarket parcels to our members. We currently have 33 households attending our social supermarket regularly and from September 2020 we have had 94 households join our social supermarket with many moving onto find a job, education opportunities, and more stability with their income and expenditure. We are also commissioned by Coventry City Council to work with local refugees, to support with ESOL and employment. We are a key partner in many different projects in Coventry which focus on supporting this client group in ESOL, employment and skills training. We also hold a place on the integration board. We pride ourselves in offering an extensive amount of support in one place and encourage members of the community to engage in as many services as they feel would be of benefit to them. We are a responsive organisation that adapts to the needs of the community. It is also important to us to be able to support those who are often excluded from society, and at risk of becoming marginalised. To this end, we want to be able to provide services that support the most disadvantaged people.

Since 1988, St Luke’s has been providing palliative care to local people, supporting them in ways which go beyond the scope and funding of the NHS. Last year we supported over 1,000 local people with a huge range of support from end of life care on our ward to supporting carers, and from helping children cope with grief to helping patients return to work after an illness. We are a charity and provide all our care for free, so we rely on the generosity and commitment of our supporters to raise more than 80% of our costs.

At St Luke's no one is just a patient, and we never lose sight of the person behind the disease. We help people feel that they do matter, and that they are cared for, and that they can still make a valuable contribution to the lives of those around them. We focus on adding life to days, even when day's can't be added to life. We offer these people free Hospice Care either in their own homes or within St Luke's building.

At St Margaret of Scotland Hospice, our commitment to delivering the highest standards of care is unwavering. This achievement, however, is made possible through the immense generosity and kindness of our dedicated supporters. Additionally, the boundless enthusiasm and tireless efforts of our volunteers and fundraisers play an indispensable role in our mission. A Care Legacy Without Boundaries: For the care we offer, there's no financial burden on patients or their families. Yet, in order to continue providing this essential care both within our hospice and in the community, we must secure £40,000 every single week. The Power of Every Contribution: Numerous significant events in our fundraising calendar contribute significantly to this target. Equally vital are the partnerships we enjoy with the broader business community. However, it's crucial to recognise that our regular activities such as bag packs and bucket collections are equally essential. Many retailers generously host Hospice Collection cans in their establishments, amplifying our reach. Individual Champions of Change: The efforts of individuals and groups who orchestrate their own fundraising events to bolster our cause are immeasurable. These range from sponsored runs to creatively themed social evenings. Our gratitude extends to all who lend a hand, but our work is ceaseless. Our fundraising team eagerly welcomes volunteers who share our vision. This offers a remarkable opportunity to give back to your community and genuinely impact lives.
