Based in the church building in the heart of Radford, Coventry, St Francis Employability is a registered charity that offers a wide variety of activities aimed at supporting the community closer to meaningful engagement in education and employment as well as supporting those in living a thriving and fulfilling life. Within our building we offer a work club with a computer area, as well as support with job search, cv writing and job application forms. We offer community support which can be support with anything from benefit applications, school applications, bills, form filling, and much more. We provide ESOL lessons and skills training with a creche facility. We have a community café area which serves breakfast and lunch throughout the week and offer volunteering placements in a variety of roles with additional opportunities to join friendship groups. On a weekly basis we have over 300 people engaging in these services and accessing support and approximately 40 volunteers on our rota at a time. We also offer food support which was initially a response to coronavirus pandemic and lockdown in March 2020. In the first instance it was set up to address the immediate food poverty and it has since grown and we have been able to develop this model to form a social supermarket, which not only provides food support, but also looks at underlying issues such as financial hardship and unemployment, with the aim of supporting and moving people towards independence. Since the beginning of our food support offer, we have issued over 1600 foodbank parcels to those in need and 1120 social supermarket parcels to our members. We currently have 33 households attending our social supermarket regularly and from September 2020 we have had 94 households join our social supermarket with many moving onto find a job, education opportunities, and more stability with their income and expenditure. We are also commissioned by Coventry City Council to work with local refugees, to support with ESOL and employment. We are a key partner in many different projects in Coventry which focus on supporting this client group in ESOL, employment and skills training. We also hold a place on the integration board. We pride ourselves in offering an extensive amount of support in one place and encourage members of the community to engage in as many services as they feel would be of benefit to them. We are a responsive organisation that adapts to the needs of the community. It is also important to us to be able to support those who are often excluded from society, and at risk of becoming marginalised. To this end, we want to be able to provide services that support the most disadvantaged people.

St. Gemma's Hospice is committed to meeting the needs of people with active, progressive and advanced illness. By providing specialist palliative care, it promotes the highest quality of life for patients with continuing support for families and carers.  

St George's Crypt provides care, support and shelter for homeless, rootless and disadvantaged people from Leeds and the surrounding areas. It runs a drop-in centre, provides crisis accommodation for rough sleepers, and runs two hostels for residents with a history of alcohol dependency.

St Giles in an independent Midlands charity caring for people living with cancer and other serious illnesses.  Founded in 1983 St Giles has become one of the leading providers of care and support for local people and their families affect by life threatening illness in the region.    

St Helena Hospice provides specialist palliative care services, with no charge to people living in North Essex who have progressive, life threatening illness.

Nothing is more tragic than a life lost needlessly. Yet every year, up to 150,000* people die in situations where first aid could have given them the chance to live. St John Ambulance teaches people first aid so that they can be the difference between a life lost and a life saved.

Wales' leading first aid charity St John Ambulance Cymru provides first aid treatment, training, and transport for communities across Wales.

We are committed to celebrating and amplifying life, enabling people to live well for as long as possible. We support more than 4,000 people with life-limiting illnesses and their families across North London. Our services include community care, Hospice@Home, day services, inpatient care, social and welfare support, therapies and bereavement support. All our care is provided completely free of charge.

Since 1988, St Luke’s has been providing palliative care to local people, supporting them in ways which go beyond the scope and funding of the NHS. Last year we supported over 1,000 local people with a huge range of support from end of life care on our ward to supporting carers, and from helping children cope with grief to helping patients return to work after an illness. We are a charity and provide all our care for free, so we rely on the generosity and commitment of our supporters to raise more than 80% of our costs.

Founded in 1982, St Luke's Hospice is a registered charity that is dedicated to providing highly specialised palliative and end of life care for patients who have terminal or life-limiting illnesses. We also offer support to the families and loved ones of our patients.

We look after people with cancer and other serious progressive illnesses, such as motor neurone disease and heart, lung and kindney failures. At St Luke's no one is just a patient, and we never lose sight of the person behind the disease. We help people feel that they do matter, and that they are cared for, and that they can still make a valuable contribution to the lives of those around them. We focus on adding life to days, even when day's can't be added to life. We offer these people free Hospice Care either in their own homes or within St Luke's building.

St Margaret's Hospice Care has been at the heart of Somerset's community for over 40 years, delivering high quality, responsive and compassionate care to patients and their families facing a life-limiting illness. Whether it is for days, weeks, months, even years, the time patients spend being cared for and supported by St Margaret's Hospice Care is precious and cherished. Through our medical expertise, nursing skills and specialist support services, we provide physical, emotional and spiritual care to our patients, their families and carers. With two hospice sites; one in Yeovil and one in Taunton, as well as five community based teams caring for patients in their own homes, we continually strive to reach everyone in the community that needs our care, often during their precious last days. Our specialist In-patient unit in Taunton provides 24 hour complex symptom control for patients across Somerset.

St Michael's Hospice is an independent charity that exists to help, support and care for patients and families across Herefordshire and beyond who are affected by a terminal illness. As a charity, the Hospice needs to raise over £12 million a year to ensure it can continue to provide its care and support for free. £10 million of this funding comes from the local community through donations and fundraising events. The Hospice’s multi-disciplinary team includes doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, complementary therapists, social workers, chaplains and counsellors.

St Michael's Hospice meets the needs of more than 4,000 people in Hastings and Rother each year.  It offers respite care, giving patients a change of environment and a break for carers, acute/palliative care, day care and a 24/7 palliative nursing service for people at home, called 'Hospice at Home'. 

Our vision is that everyone has a place to call home and can fulfil their hopes and ambitions. As a homelessness charity and housing association our clients are at the heart of what we do. We provide a bed and support to more than 2,500 people a night who are either homeless or at risk, and work to end homelessness and rebuild lives.

St Nicholas Hospice Care, Bury St Edmunds works alongside the community of West Suffolk and Thetford to provide care and support for patients and their families living with terminal or life-limiting diseases. We’re here to enable people to have a good quality of life, for as long as possible. That might mean managing pain and other symptoms; giving personal care; providing physiotherapy to keep someone mobile; offering counselling to work through difficult emotions; or arranging special activities to make all-important memories with loved ones.  The St Nic's needs to raise £17,500 through donations every day simply to stay open.  Your support is what makes this happen. Each year the Hospice is involved in the care and support of over 2000 people, from diagnosis through to death and into bereavement. We believe in the right of each one of these people to die with support and dignity and with love.

St Oswald's provides hospice care to adults with life shortening conditions. The adult service includes an Inpatient Unit, Day Services and an Outpatient Clinic. St Oswald's also provides specialist short breaks to children within a relaxed 'home-from-home' environment. Our annual running costs now exceed £7million, of which £5 million must be raised through voluntary giving.  

St Peter & St James Hospice provide expert and compassionate hospice care to adults in Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, Uckfield, Lewes and the surrounding villages. We also support their carers and families through the challenges of illness, bereavement and grief.

St Peter’s Hospice is a Bristol charity caring for adults with life-limiting illnesses. We aim to improve the quality of their living and dying while extending care and support to their families and loved ones. We provide physical, psychological and spiritual care for our patients in their own homes as well as at the Hospice. We also teach other healthcare professionals about how to care for people at the end of their lives. All of our care is provided free of charge, but it costs us around £20,000 a day to provide that care. For most of this money we rely on Gifts in Wills, donations, fundraising and our shops.

We provide outstanding care and support to patients living with life limiting illnesses and their loved ones.

St Richard’s Hospice cares for adults with a serious progressive illness, improving their quality of life from diagnosis, during treatment and to their last days. It also supports their loved ones. Each year the hospice team supports more than 3,100 patients, family members and bereaved people in Worcestershire. St Richard’s is an independent charity and relies on donations and gifts in Wills for the majority of its income with 20% funded by the NHS.

St. Rocco's Hospice provides specialist care and support for patients with cancer and other progressive ilnesss in the Warrington area. Quality of life is at the cntre of our philosophy. Care is given within a 10 bed inpatient unit and 15 place day unit. A huge range of services include complementary therapies, symptom control, nursing care and family support. All these services are offered completely FREE of charge in an atmosphere of love and care.

The Centre offers employment and volunteering opportunities through a job club and courses run by external providers. The Centre also offers social activities (lunch club, tea and natter) to the local community and rooms for hire.

St Wilfrid's Hospice is a local charity providing skilled and compassionate care and treatment to people living with a life limiting illness. We currently care for more than 1600 people every year and have been providing our services to our community for over 40 years.
