Wild things! is an award winning environmental education charity working in Moray, Aberdeenshire and the Highlands. Since 2003, Wild things! has enabled over 15,000 children, young people and adults to learn from and be inspired by their local natural environment and the remote wilderness regions of Scotland Our programmes encourage a mutually beneficial relationship between individuals and their natural environment: we provide the opportunity for our participants to understand, appreciate and care for the natural environment whilst at the same time acquiring new skills, confidence, and interests. Our activities benefit all age groups from the young (from five years up) to adults and older people. We work in partnership with a range of organisations providing extra support for young people considered ‘at risk’ or who are struggling within mainstream education as well as vulnerable adults.

We are an active group of parents, grandparents and friends. We work throughout the year to put on social events and raise additional funding for the school.  We are pleased to say that WISS and JET are now amalgamated! Having run so many wonderful events together for several years! Some of our events are for children, some are for grown-ups and some are for all the family.  Much of the money we raise is to provide all children in school with wonderful experiences which other schools ask parents/carers to pay for. The Williams Syndrome Foundation was formed in 1980 and is run by parents for parents of children with this rare condition which causes heart and kidney problems and learning difficulties. It desperately needs funds to finance its ambitious research and family support programmes which include national conventions and regional meetings.

The Willow Foundation provides quality of life and quality of time for seriously ill young adults through the provision of special days.  The aim of the special day is to offer 'time out' from treatment and allow seriously ill young adults to spend time with friends and family pursuing an activity they all enjoy.

Willow project is a registered charity in Atherton, and has been offering therapeutic support to the community since 1992. Our main purpose is to work primarily with young people and the adults in their family, through one-to-one counselling and therapeutic group work. We work towards alleviating mental health and emotional issues, increasing self-esteem and confidence by looking at coping strategies, building resilience, and developing aspirations for the future.

We are an independent charity established in 1993 by local people to raise funds to build and run a specialist palliative care unit. Willowbrook relies on donations and we thank you for your continued support and understanding at this time. Unfortunately due to the outbreak of COVID-19 virus we are unable to receive donations of goods at this time. The hospice, located in Prescot, close to the communities that it serves, cares for patients with life limiting diseases living in St Helens, Knowsley and the surrounding areas. Since the hospice opened in 1997, we have cared for over 9000 patients. During that time our services have grown so much that we now receive approximately 1000 patient referrals a year.

Wirral Hospice St John’s provides FREE care for adult patients with life-limiting illnesses. We also support carers and loved ones. Families are at the heart of everything we do. We passionately believe that a life-limiting diagnosis should not limit, as far as is practically possible, a person’s quality of life. Although some NHS funding is received, the majority of our income is donated by individuals, families, groups, companies and charitable trusts. Every penny really counts and helps us to make a real difference to the specialist care we provide for our patients and those important to them.

Wishes 4 Kids is a Leicester based children's Charity which grants wishes for young people of eighteen years and below who are life-limited, terminally ill, have suffered life changing physical or emotional traumas and those who have been severely abused.

We are an ultra-rare progressive neuro-degenerative genetic syndrome that affects children and adults. There are 4 main features - Diabetes Insipidus, Type 1 Diabetes, vision loss and hearing loss. It also cause loss of gag reflex, respiratory complications, anxiety plus more. It is a life shortening condition with no cure. We support the individuals affected and their families. We are the only charity and support group in the UK for Wolfram Syndrome

Wolves Foundation is a cornerstone of the city of Wolverhampton. Through a team of highly skilled, dedicated staff and volunteers it harnesses the strong local connection with Wolves to motivate, educate and inspire tens of thousands of beneficiaries of its work across the city. The charity works in partnership with key local stakeholders including the local authority, police, health service and education providers to identify risk factors in the city around societal issues and health status; using data and insight to deliver evidence-based practice through its vast array of projects that address these needs through its key three objectives; • Healthier, more active people • Lifelong learning and skills • Safer, stronger communities Working in the community is vital to its work and removing barriers to engagement regardless of age, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, or disability. With participants ranging from 1 month to 100 years old across 225 different delivery sites in the city, work is delivered all year round improving the physical and mental health, personal development and life choices of the people engaged in its work. Data from its last 12 months work shows; • 92% of participants have improved their mental and physical wellbeing • 90% of participants have improved their educational achievement • 84% of participants feel they now contribute more to a safer, stronger, more inclusive community.

We are Wooden Spoon, the children’s charity of rugby. We fund life-changing projects across the UK and Ireland to support children and young people with disabilities or facing disadvantage. Working towards our vision of giving every child and young person, no matter what their background access to the same opportunities, we fund a range of projects including respite and medical treatment centres, sensory rooms, specialist playgrounds and community based programmes.
