All monies raised in Wales are utilised and distributed within Wales. The charity is particularly keen to work in partnership with others to achieve this goal.

Our experienced team offers a range of services from counselling and hands on activities such as gardening and music groups, to specialised support programmes and mental health workshops and training courses for individuals and workplaces, all designed to help put coping strategies into practice for everyday life. West Mercia Women's Aid is the lead charity in West Mercia working with victims/survivors of domestic violence and abuse. We provide services including 24-hr helpline, refuges, community support and group programmes for adults and children, support to high risk victims, survivor networks, training and consultancy.

The West Somerset Railway (WSR) is a 23-mile-long steam heritage railway running through the heart of West Somerset – the longest in fact in England. Started in 1871, the railway is one of the largest tourist attractions in the area bringing around 200,000 visitors each year. The organisation has become an integral part of the wider local community, providing employment and volunteering opportunities and boosting the local economy through tourism. The West Somerset Railway Association (WSRA) is a community led, member driven, charitable association. Our aim is to preserve and restore the heritage of the WSR, to fundraise, promote education, ensure community involvement, and to leave a legacy for future generations. The heritage railway operates steam trains along its line as its core activity; however, it also has a large number of other activities including educational visits, heritage restoration, museums, local events like the 1940’s weekend, an annual steam gala, and even Santa trains for the younger generation! The railway has 40 years’ worth of experience in bringing people together from all backgrounds and all regions of the country. We have just over 1,000 regular volunteers and around 2,600 members who interact with each other, developing and sharing skills and experiences, broadening their own horizons, reducing rural isolation and poverty, and forming friendships that last for life. There are many volunteering roles to fill from: engineering and restoration projects; operating the line; running shops; organising experience days and events; to line-side clearance; office work; even management work as directors and trustees. The railway offers free training and skill development in turn raising aspirations, developing confidence and wellbeing, increasing social interactions, and combatting rural isolation and loneliness. Our staff and volunteers come from varied backgrounds from disadvantaged, unemployed young people working on apprenticeships, to retired volunteers. Monitoring shows that 77% of volunteers are men and 23% women, and that the average age is 62 years.

We provide high-quality mental health support services in towns and rural communities across West Sussex. Wild things! is an award winning environmental education charity working in Moray, Aberdeenshire and the Highlands. Since 2003, Wild things! has enabled over 15,000 children, young people and adults to learn from and be inspired by their local natural environment and the remote wilderness regions of Scotland Our programmes encourage a mutually beneficial relationship between individuals and their natural environment: we provide the opportunity for our participants to understand, appreciate and care for the natural environment whilst at the same time acquiring new skills, confidence, and interests. Our activities benefit all age groups from the young (from five years up) to adults and older people. We work in partnership with a range of organisations providing extra support for young people considered ‘at risk’ or who are struggling within mainstream education as well as vulnerable adults.

We are an active group of parents, grandparents and friends. We work throughout the year to put on social events and raise additional funding for the school.  We are pleased to say that WISS and JET are now amalgamated! Having run so many wonderful events together for several years! Some of our events are for children, some are for grown-ups and some are for all the family.  Much of the money we raise is to provide all children in school with wonderful experiences which other schools ask parents/carers to pay for. The Williams Syndrome Foundation was formed in 1980 and is run by parents for parents of children with this rare condition which causes heart and kidney problems and learning difficulties. It desperately needs funds to finance its ambitious research and family support programmes which include national conventions and regional meetings.

The Willow Foundation provides quality of life and quality of time for seriously ill young adults through the provision of special days.  The aim of the special day is to offer 'time out' from treatment and allow seriously ill young adults to spend time with friends and family pursuing an activity they all enjoy.

Willow project is a registered charity in Atherton, and has been offering therapeutic support to the community since 1992. Our main purpose is to work primarily with young people and the adults in their family, through one-to-one counselling and therapeutic group work. We work towards alleviating mental health and emotional issues, increasing self-esteem and confidence by looking at coping strategies, building resilience, and developing aspirations for the future.

We are an independent charity established in 1993 by local people to raise funds to build and run a specialist palliative care unit. Willowbrook relies on donations and we thank you for your continued support and understanding at this time. Unfortunately due to the outbreak of COVID-19 virus we are unable to receive donations of goods at this time. The hospice, located in Prescot, close to the communities that it serves, cares for patients with life limiting diseases living in St Helens, Knowsley and the surrounding areas. Since the hospice opened in 1997, we have cared for over 9000 patients. During that time our services have grown so much that we now receive approximately 1000 patient referrals a year.

Wirral Hospice St John’s provides FREE care for adult patients with life-limiting illnesses. We also support carers and loved ones. Families are at the heart of everything we do. We passionately believe that a life-limiting diagnosis should not limit, as far as is practically possible, a person’s quality of life. Although some NHS funding is received, the majority of our income is donated by individuals, families, groups, companies and charitable trusts. Every penny really counts and helps us to make a real difference to the specialist care we provide for our patients and those important to them.

Wishes 4 Kids is a Leicester based children's Charity which grants wishes for young people of eighteen years and below who are life-limited, terminally ill, have suffered life changing physical or emotional traumas and those who have been severely abused.

We are an ultra-rare progressive neuro-degenerative genetic syndrome that affects children and adults. There are 4 main features - Diabetes Insipidus, Type 1 Diabetes, vision loss and hearing loss. It also cause loss of gag reflex, respiratory complications, anxiety plus more. It is a life shortening condition with no cure. We support the individuals affected and their families. We are the only charity and support group in the UK for Wolfram Syndrome
