Some of our challenges are operated exclusively in aid of one particular charity, but where you see the words “in aid of any charity”, you can raise funds for any cause that you feel passionate about, as long as they are a UK or Irish registered charity, and they authorise you to fundraise in their name.
We will help to get the authorisation for you to fundraise, so choose from one of the many charities on our database, or if you don’t find them listed, you can give us some contact details when you book and we’ll get in touch with them about becoming a charity partner.
Please type in the name (or part of the name) of the charity below in the ‘search term’ field below. If the name is a direct match, it will appear at the top of the results list. i.e. if you type Cancer, Cancer UK will appear towards the top of the results, British Cancer UK will appear lower down, and The UK Foundation of Lung Cancer Charities will appear even further down. So please try the exact match for the first few words to make it easier to find your charity. If you type a search term that is not in the name of the charity, but is in the description about the charity, it will appear after all of the above named results.

Blesma, The Limbless Veterans, is dedicated to assisting serving and ex-Service men and women who have suffered life-changing limb loss or the loss of use of a limb, an eye or loss of sight. We support these men and women in their communities throughout the UK and overseas. We work tirelessly for our Members when the conflicts that have affected their lives are no longer a focal point in the nation’s media. Since 1932, we have been the only national Service charity that supports limbless veterans for the duration of their lives. Our Members range from the youngest amputee veterans to those who fought in WWII, some having lived with limb loss for more than half a century. Modern medicine transforms the physical injury, but it is a complicated process to treat the emotional trauma and related lifelong health problems. Blesma provides a network where Members not only enjoy support from our professional Welfare Team, but where they have the opportunity to engage with others who have similar injuries and backgrounds to themselves, building an important fellowship with each other to overcome everyday battles.

Brain tumours present a life changing experience. Current treatment involves Surgery, plus a combination of Chemotherapy, and Radio or Proton Therapy, but each of these have devastating consequences in terms of side effects, both in the short term and over the long term. Research is trying to establish new innovative ways to treat childhood brain tumours, but this requires funding. Blue Skye Thinking is a charity set up to support research and treatment of childhood brain tumours, and to look after the wellbeing of the children and their families, so that all diagnosed, will have a better chance of survival and a better quality of life during and post-treatment. The Charity is run by volunteers and all money donated goes directly to the forefront of research, treatment and wellbeing projects.

Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice cares for children and young adults whose lives are sadly just too short, both in their own homes and at the North Anston hospice. The charity supports children and young adults with life-shortening and life-threatening conditions, helping hundreds of families at the hospice and in their homes across the region. Bluebell Wood is very much a happy, joyful place focused on helping families make wonderful memories together whether they have weeks, months or years together. It costs almost £14,000 each day to keep the hospice doors open for families across South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire, North Nottinghamshire and parts of North Lincolnshire. With only around fifteen per cent of its funding coming from Government sources, Bluebell Wood is reliant on its fantastic supporters, fundraisers and volunteers who consistently go above and beyond to help the charity reach as many people who need it as possible.
