Some of our challenges are operated exclusively in aid of one particular charity, but where you see the words “in aid of any charity”, you can raise funds for any cause that you feel passionate about, as long as they are a UK or Irish registered charity, and they authorise you to fundraise in their name.
We will help to get the authorisation for you to fundraise, so choose from one of the many charities on our database, or if you don’t find them listed, you can give us some contact details when you book and we’ll get in touch with them about becoming a charity partner.
Please type in the name (or part of the name) of the charity below in the ‘search term’ field below. If the name is a direct match, it will appear at the top of the results list. i.e. if you type Cancer, Cancer UK will appear towards the top of the results, British Cancer UK will appear lower down, and The UK Foundation of Lung Cancer Charities will appear even further down. So please try the exact match for the first few words to make it easier to find your charity. If you type a search term that is not in the name of the charity, but is in the description about the charity, it will appear after all of the above named results.

British Emunah fundraises in the UK to help support 37 projects in Israel which transform the lives of thousands of 'at risk' and disadvantaged children. How does Emunah support the individual child? Emunah in Israel operates a network of social welfare projects including residential children's homes, high schools, family support and daycare centres, trauma and counselling sevices. At every Emunah centre each child receives the individual attention and therapeutic support required to meet their complex needs. Specialist staff provide educational support and therapies offered include music, drama, art, puppet, animal petting therapy, horse-riding and sports activities. These are not just for fun. Staff tackle the child’s underlying emotional and social problems through the various activities and help the child deal with their strong feelings of anger, frustration, grief or desperation. Our many success stories show that by working with children and where appropriate, parents and the whole family, Emunah can break the cycles of neglect, abuse & poverty so that the children we care for now will go on to live successful and happy lives in the future.

We currently support around 160 individuals and families and will help around 400-500 people during a year. We source accommodation, pay the bond, provide 1-to-1 support and training and source donations of food, clothing, furniture, cooking and cleaning equipment – basically anything needed to set up and maintain a safe home. The majority of our funding comes from the local council but we are left with a deficit of around £100,000 to raise each year through fundraising activities to maintain our service.

We are an anti-poverty charity who believes everyone should have the right to say goodbye to their loved one regardless of their financial circumstances. Community Renewal has over 20 years-experience working in deprived communities, taking a person-centred, holistic approach to lift families and individuals out of poverty. In 2017 we began to widen our focus to the very real issue of funeral poverty in Scotland. As funeral costs rise year after year - one in seven are forced into debt following a bereavement, putting added strain on grieving families. When you imagine that the average cost of a funeral in Scotland is now £6535, of which £4229 is paid to the funeral director , you can see how this can have a devastating impact on families at the worst possible time. We have heard time and time again stories of how a bereaved person’s financial circumstances has either significantly delayed their loved one’s funeral or resulted in them taking out a payday loan to pay for a funeral bill they can ill afford. After much research of support services available, we discovered that there isn’t holistic support for people in this situation. And even worse, there aren’t many funders who will show their support for issues around bereavement or funeral poverty. As a result, Community Renewal Trust now own and operate a not-for-profit funeral directors. Caledonia Cremation offer dignified cremations, plus emotional and practical support for bereaved people across mainland Scotland. By supporting Caledonia Cremation at this event, you are supporting the right for everyone to say their goodbyes, regardless of their financial circumstances
