First Steps ED provides eating disorder support to children, young people and adults across the UK. We offer counselling, psychotherapy, befriending, workshops, parent and carer support as well as professional training to the health and education sector.

Flamingo Chicks is a national, award-winning charity giving disabled children, and those with illnesses like cancer, the opportunity to dance. Since 2013, over 60,000 children have experienced our inclusive classes, workshops, stage shows, and virtual sessions, building confidence, creativity, and social connection.

The relief of the need of those currently in hospital suffering from or affected by childhood cancer or other illnesses, including parents/guardians and their families, in particular but not exclusively by the provision of: • packages containing gifts of toys, art supplies and essential items such as toiletries suitable for long hospital stays • play sessions aimed at children during hospital stays, Friday night Pizza drops and more.

The Fly Navy Heritage Trust is the charity behind Navy Wings, working to preserve Britain’s great naval aviation heritage. It relies on public donations to support its work in maintaining, presenting and flying an unrivalled collection of historic naval aircraft. This outstanding array of aircraft, when considered together, provides a unique insight into the full suite of Naval aviation achievements, from the very earliest days of flying aircraft from the water to the breathtaking technological advances that enable high-speed jets and heavy helicopters to land on the moving decks of ships at sea.

FND Hope UK is part of the first and only global patient-led charity for people with Functional Neurological Disorder. Originating as a grassroots campaign, it uncovers the hidden world of FND and empowers those affected to live their best possible life. Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) is a problem with the functioning of the nervous system and how the brain and body send and receive signals. This causes a range of neurological symptoms such as seizures, weakness, paralysis and chronic pain. FND has multiple causes and can be triggered by physical injury, psychological or other trauma to the brain and or body. This stops the nervous system working properly. The disruption to the signals is like letters being sent to the wrong address, despite having the correct label. FND Hope International began in 2012 and the UK community launched in 2015. Today FND Hope UK is part of a global network spanning America, Australia, Canada and the Netherlands with members in 100 countries. FND Hope UK campaigns to improve understanding, working with those affected, researchers and health professionals. We support people to enjoy the best life they can, advocating for their right to diagnosis, treatment and care.

Foal Farm has been rescuing and rehoming neglected animals in and around Kent for more than 60 years. Our mission is to take in as many animals as we can properly care for, to restore them to health and happiness and where possible find them new homes, or provide a sanctuary for life.

We are FoodCycle, and our vision is to make food poverty, loneliness and food waste a thing of the past for every community. With community dining, week in, week out we feed the hungry and give company to the lonely in our communities; providing delicious meals and great conversation, and using food which would otherwise go to waste.

FORCE has spent the last 28 years making a real contribution to local cancer research, improving treatment, and since 1997 has been offering professional support and information to anyone affected by cancer.  All of our work continues to rely entirely on voluntary contributions.

Forest Pulse support children and young people with disabilities and their families living in the Forest of Dean. We provide exciting activities for children of all levels of ability and mobility and also support and advice for parents.

Forget Me Not Club provides support to not only those who are living with dementia, but also their carers and family members. Based in Banchory, Aberdeenshire, our club caters for in excess of 30 members who attend throughout the week to take part in activities, exercises and live entertainment whilst enjoying company of others, lunch, snacks and refreshments throughout the day. We do not charge for this service so rely entirely on donations, funding and fundraising events.

Forgotten Veterans UK supports veterans in need

A small self funded charity working with local Councils to rescue/rehome stray and unwanted dogs & cats. We don't have a rescue centre and look after our animals via a network of foster carers. All animals are neutered, vaccinated and microchipped before rehoming. In 2013 we rescued over 700 animals.

FOUR PAWS is the global animal welfare organisation for animals under direct human influence, which reveals suffering, rescues animals in need and protects them. Founded in 1988 in Vienna by Heli Dungler and friends, the organisation advocates for a world where humans treat animals with respect, empathy and understanding. The sustainable campaigns and projects of FOUR PAWS focus on companion animals including stray dogs and cats, farm animals and wild animals – such as bears, big cats and orangutans – kept in inappropriate conditions as well as in disaster and conflict zones. The need for the Fredericks Foundation Social Enterprise and Charities Fund is great and can be simply demonstrated by the fact that there are over 166,311 charities and 471,000 Social Enterprises in the UK. In the charity sector alone, 90% of all donations go to medium and large charities that make up just 6.6% of the market. There are 145,000 small charities that are often in need of funds and find it hard to be noticed and access funds. Fredericks Foundation is there both to fill this funding gap and to help these smaller organisations succeed.

Freedom from Torture (formerly the Medical Foundation for the Care of Victims of Torture) provides direct care to torture survivors and promotes their rights so they can start to rebuild their lives.  They have five treatment centres around the UK who between them have helped over 50,000 traumatised men, women and children since they opened their doors in 1985.

Freedom4Girls is a grass roots charity founded in 2016. We aim to help eradicate, educate and support girls, women and those who menstruate. Not only those affected by period poverty, but to spread knowledge to those who can in fact support others. Period poverty is a major concern still even in this day and age and even more so through these unprecedented times.

Black Cultural Archives is the only national heritage centre dedicated to collecting, preserving and celebrating the histories of African and Caribbean people in Britain.

Our objective is to relieve sickness and to preserve the health of critically ill children from across the South. Our aim is to provide life-saving equipment, facilities and services, which are not always provided by the statutory authorities, directly to the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Southampton University Hospital.

The Friends of Poplar Primary School is our dedicated Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), committed to enriching the educational experience and well-being of every child at Poplar. Our mission is to foster a strong sense of community and fun whilst raising funds to provide resources and opportunities that fall outside of the schools budget. Who We Are All parents, guardians, and staff members at Poplar Primary School are automatically members of the PTA. We also welcome extended family members, governors, non-teaching staff, and local community members with close ties to the school to get involved in our activities.
