The Grange Pavilion project redevelops a neglected Bowls Pavilion and Green as a multifunctional facility for Grangetown’s diverse communities, providing civic amenities including multiple spaces for community use and for hire, and a community-focused café and garden for wellbeing, play, education, growing and biodiversity, meeting priorities identified by Grangetown communities.

The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) operates three helicopters, 365 days a year, across the North-East, North Yorkshire and Cumbria. GNAAS crews respond to around 1,000 call outs each year and on board our aircraft are specialist trauma doctors and paramedics, who bring accident and emergency expertise to the scene. Whether it’s in a city centre or a remote mountain, our medics respond to wherever they are needed in the shortest space of time. The helicopters are never more than a 15-minute flight from the nearest hospital.

The charity is committed to creating specially designed, stimulating garden spaces that can bring many benefits to children with life-limiting conditions. Whilst many people may take for granted the simple pleasure of being able to enjoy a garden, for these children, their siblings and their families, the chance to spend time together outdoors and away from the bedside is precious.

We are the foremost provider of specialist palliative care to people living in the London Boroughs of Greenwich and Bexley. Our services cover an area of 40 square miles and a population of around 450,000 and has areas of wealth and extreme hardship. Our staff and volunteers care for patients with a variety of life limiting illnesses, and provide support services for their loved ones for as long as they need it.

It is our aim to provide an exemplary Helicopter Emergency Medical Service to the people of Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, conveying patients efficiently and promptly to the most appropriate hospital for their needs. The Helicopter is called many times a day to attend to road traffic collisions, sporting accidents, collapses and many other incidents, and these missions are often life saving. Funded solely by donations, the Air Ambulance flies seven days a week, 365 days a year, and can be anywhere in Hampshire in 15 minutes and the Isle of Wight in 20.

We support their family and friends through the whole experience, including into bereavement. As a charity only part funded by the NHS it is through the kindness of supporters such as yourselves that we can be alongside our community at their time of need. This generosity means that every person who comes to us can be supported to shape their own care.

Havens Hospices provides specialist care and support for people of all ages who are living with incurable conditions and their families. We work closely with the person and their health and social care professionals to ensure their care and support is the best it can possibly be, so everyone in our community can get the most from life, and make every day count. Our specialist team offers a wide range of care and support options for patients and their loved ones, based on their needs and wishes. This can be in the comfort of their own home, in the hospices – Fair Havens for adults or Little Havens for children - or a combination. Our care and support includes everyone, extending to partners, family and friends to make sure the right support is there for patients and the people who matter to them, where and when they need it. This care is provided absolutely free of charge.
