Free holidays, activities and support for disabled children and young people with disabilities. We are Ofsted registered and support people with a range of care needs. We have projects in the North West and South West.

Our work very much reflects the values of Hibernian F.C. when it was first formed. That is, when the Club was formed by the Catholic Young Men’s Society in 1875, it would use funds raised from games to support the local community. These values are alive today in the community foundation as they were 150 years ago. Broadly, we work in two areas: (1) Grassroots Football: Organising football for all in our community, from recreational to national performance teams. This includes our boys’, girls’ and women’s academies, pre-school and school programmes, holiday camps and football for particular groups in the community: those who are disabled and/or have additional support needs, over 55s, and refugee and immigrant communities. (2) Community Outreach: Developing initiatives that offer practical help to those who most need it. We provide hot meals and a warm, inviting space to anyone and everyone who can benefit from it. We work with a range of community groups, charities, and foodbanks in the central, north and east sides of Edinburgh, many of whom refer people to us. But we do a lot more too. We organise mental health support groups, keep fit classes, a community choir, social clubs for young people, the elderly and refugee community, provide computer and online access, and adult learning opportunities.

All charitable donations made to a hospital/ward/department within the Highland Health Board area are held in trust until used. With over 350 individual funds, to benefit the health and wellbeing of patients and staff across the Board area. The individual funds are, in the main, specific to a particular Ward/Department/Hospital.

At Highland Hospice we aim to support people, their families and carers, living with an advancing, life shortening illness in the Highlands to live the best possible life and to prepare for and experience the best possible death.

HIPZ SUPPORTS THE HEALTHCARE PROVISION IN ZANZIBAR. HIPZ IS RESPONSIBLE FOR TWO RURAL HOSPITALS, AT KIVUNGE AND MAKUNDUCHI, WHERE THEY HAVE IMPROVED THE PHYSICAL CONDITIONS OF THE HOSPITALS, PROVIDED EQUIPMENT, DEVELOPED THE INFRASTRUCTURE AND ADMINISTRATION AND PROVIDED SIGNIFICANT CLINICAL TRAINING. THIS IS ACHIEVED THROUGH VOLUNTEER UK DOCTORS ON PLACEMENTS IN THE HOSPITALS FOR UP TO A YEAR.

We are a holistic based charity that works with males from key-stage 2 into adulthood across the UK. Using mentoring, coaching mindfulness, together with a network of support and a sense of family we ensure males thrive not just to survive. We teach males the tools needed for their own mental health. Look at it this way. If I gave a starving man a fish, he would eat for that day. He would fill fulfilled and contempt. But If I taught a man to fish, he would never be starving again, he would thrive and be happy. Holding On Letting Go is a children's bereavement charity supporting children aged 6-16 and their families throughout the whole of Kent.

We want to find a safe and loving home for every child that needs one. Every fifteen minutes in the UK, a child will come into care. Many will have suffered neglect or abuse, all will experience trauma and loss. Each one deserves a home where they will be loved, nurtured and enabled to thrive, whether that’s through short-term foster care, a long-term foster placement, or with a new adoptive family. Together we can find a home for every child who needs one.

Home-Start is one of the UK’s leading family support charities, a voluntary organisation offering support to families who have at least one child under five when family life becomes difficult. All round the country local schemes recruit and train volunteers to support local families with young children at home. Home-Start Cambridgeshire’s aim is to give every child the best possible start in life. The ethos of the charity can best be described as ‘One parent helping another parent through a difficult time.’ Our service supports families, through weekly volunteer home visits, to deal with diverse concerns such as parental mental health issues, isolation, postnatal illness, disability, bereavement, multiple births and parenting skills. We also support families in a group setting currently in Chesterton, Cambridge and Wisbech. Our trained volunteers provide tailored practical and emotional support to help parents and children build confidence, independence, resilience and community connections. This early intervention service offers a gateway to many other community services and we work in partnership with them to improve the life chances of our families and young children.

Our team of trained volunteers offer emotional and practical support to vulnerable families in their own homes. We run family groups to help families to build confidence & friendships and help to build resilience and give families the tools to help avoid crisis and cope better with family life.

Home-Start Hampshire provides a service to the following areas in Hampshire; Gosport and Fareham, Havant, Meon Valley, New Forest, Rushmoor and Hart and Weywater. Being a parent, whatever your situation, can be very challenging, especially when children are young. Many parents feel exhausted and overwhelmed by the stresses of family life. For some parents it’s a particular struggle because they are also coping with issues such as post-natal depression, their or their child’s illness or disability, isolation or multiple births. That’s when parents need support. That’s when Home-Start Hampshire can help. A carefully selected volunteer, who has parenting experience, can visit regularly and offer emotional and practical support. This friendly parent-to-parent support is a simple yet effective way of enabling families to get back on track.

Home-Start Kernow support families with under 5's in Cornwall who are going through a tough time. Support is provided through a network of trained volunteers giving 1-1 home visiting, as well as through groups that are available county wide.

We depend almost entirely upon voluntary income to fund our work with terminally ill children and their families.  We provide periods of respite care at our two hospices Hope House, Shropshire and Ty Gobaith, North Wales.  We also support families in their own homes through our Community Nursing Teams.

Hospiscare is the local adult hospice charity providing specialist care to patients and their families living with life-limiting illnesses across Exeter, Mid and East Devon. We're a vital part of the local healthcare system - our expert doctors and nurses care for around 2,500 terminally ill patients every year, supporting people through some of the hardest times in their lives. Our services include support at home, a specialist palliative care ward, out-patients clinics, and supportive therapies.
