L’Arche is a worldwide federation of people, with and without learning disabilities, working together for a world where all belong. At L’Arche we celebrate people with learning disabilities and build circles of support around them. We go beyond supporting people's basic needs to attend to their emotional and spiritual lives, too. It is this focus on building relationships and cultivating a sense of belonging that makes us different from other service providers.

LRRSS rescues,rehomes and rehabilitates Labrador Retrievers in Scotland. We promote and advance responsible pet ownership. Many rehomings are prevented by us providing training and support to owners. We educate the public on buying puppies and how to find a good breeder. We work with other agencies, police, prison, search and rescue etc where it is felt the Labrador would be happier as a working dog. The Rescue is not judgemental and 99% of the Labradors rehomed are much loved and only a sad change in circumstances has caused the rehomings.

We are a small charity serving Mid to South Essex with breast cancer awareness and education. We offer 1-2-1 appointments with specialist nurses for anyone with a breast concern, offering advice and advocacy. In 2025, we will be launching a programme of support workshops, social groups, and therapies for those going through treatment and for afterwards, and an additional outreach project to support SEN adults with breast cancer awareness.

We provide big cat soft toys to children with a brain tumour diagnosis, to provide comfort and companionship throughout their treatment. We also support projects to improve the lives of children with a brain tumour diagnosis.

LATCH is a charity that supports children who are receiving treatment for cancer at the Children's Hospital for Wales and their families.

Launchpad helps some of Reading’s most vulnerable and disadvantaged people to turn their lives around and fulfil their potential. We provide three services to prevent homelessness in Reading: •Housing with support. We can house 100 people and with individual targeted support we help people. Last year we housed and helped 206 people. •Preventing homelessness. Our Floating Support service is for anyone in unsuitable accommodation or at risk of becoming homeless, supporting over 400 Reading people a year. •Drop-in. Our Drop-in service is for anyone in Reading who needs housing or homelessness related advice. We can help prevent a problem becoming a crisis. Last year over 600 people came to our drop-in for advice, guidance and support. We began as a soup kitchen in 1979 and were known as Reading Single Homeless Project until 2011. Today, we’re called Launchpad Reading and provide accommodation, support and education to people in the town who need our help.

The provision of free holidays for disadvantaged children in Leeds

To provide free residential short breaks/respite for disadvantaged and socially excluded children aged 7 to 11 years, and to provide and maintain a purpose-built property at Silverdale, near Morecambe, where over 400 underprivileged children each year have fun, play, made friends away from dysfunctional families and/or responsibilities beyond their years

Children diagnosed with cancer often face severe mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, and behavioural issues, which impact their entire families. The emotional toll leads to strained relationships and alters family dynamics, while children can feel disconnected from peers, hindering their social development. Hospital stays and treatment disrupt education, affecting academic progress. Parents may feel isolated due to caregiving demands, limiting their social participation. Young cancer survivors also struggle with emotional issues and concerns about their future well-being. Additionally, families face financial hardships, limited support services, and healthcare inequalities, further intensifying their struggles. For over 32 years, Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund has been a lifeline for these children across the UK. We support the entire family throughout their child’s cancer journey, from diagnosis through treatment and beyond. We recognise that every family's experience is unique, which is why we work closely with them to ensure that they are supported in the best way possible.

Let's Talk About Loss supports young grievers aged 18-35, by providing safe, supportive, open and empowering meet ups across the UK. Our vision is that no young griever grieves alone and we're passionate about talking through the taboo of loss!

Leuchie House is a national respite charity based in North Berwick dedicated to supporting families living with the long-term effects of a neurological condition such as Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease and stroke through individualised short respite breaks, and by providing hundreds of essential breaks for carers each year. Sadly, 1 in 5 carers have not had a single days’ break in over 5 years. We are the only respite provider in Scotland able to care for the challenging and complex needs of people living with a neurological condition which can improve health, enable independence and reduce loneliness. People travel from every health board in Scotland (except the islands) just to access a break at Leuchie.

This service, called Model Cell Biobank, is designed to allow the collection and storage of cord blood stem cells to families who have a history of cancer in their immediate family and who cannot afford to pay for a private service. These cells will then be available for at least the following 25 years to treat the child from whom they were collected, or another family member. The service costs us over £2,000 per collection to deliver and your support could give hope, and possible life saving treatment, to a family who needs it now, or in the future and cannot afford to pay for it themselves. We help families overcome the costs of education so all children in Luton have the chance to love learning. 27% of children in Luton live in poverty - that’s over 16,000 children. If Luton is going to provide the best childhood possible for all our children, this needs to change. We help by providing gift cards for school shoes and coats, running a Uniform Exchange in The Mall, giving out Learn @ Home resource packs full of the things children need for homework, and running a summer school packed with exciting and enriching experiences. Our work makes children feel more included, more confident, and enables them to attend school more – which all adds up to a brighter future.
