METUPUK is a UK wide patient advocacy charity for people with metastatic breast cancer (MBC) campaigning to increase public awareness and education about MBC. We work to see better care, access to drugs and trials as well as representation of MBC patients within NHS UK, the national regulators and drug companies.

The Michael Sobell Hospice charity (formerly the Friends of Michael Sobell House) is dedicated to supporting the work of Michael Sobell Hospice, providing specialised end of life care and support to local people, their families, friends and carers. Michael Sobell Hospice is run by East and North Hertfordshire NHS and jointly funded by the NHS and the Michael Sobell Hospice Charity. This year, the charity has to raise over £1.6 million to ensure vital services are maintained, around 40% of the overall running costs. Mobility Trust provides powered wheelchairs and scooters for people who have severe disabilities, who are unable to obtain them from statutory sources or afford to buy them themselves. We aim to reach and help people who, quite simply have nowhere else to turn. We are the only charity that provides such broad support, regardless of age or cause of disabilities. Our work does not stop at raising the funds. We organise the medical assessments, arrange the purchase, delivery, insurance and follow up any problems. Consider for a moment, the joy of being in total control of your body, to have the physical means to go where you like, when you like - do we take all this for granted? Usually we do. It is only when a friend, a member of our family or we ourselves risk losing our mobility that it becomes a reality. If you think it would be devastating to have to live in a wheelchair, I can tell you that there is something much worse, not having a wheelchair when you are unable to walk.
