Our vision is a world without motor neuron disease (MND). Until that day comes, we are here to make time count for everyone affected by MND in Scotland.

Mobility Trust provides powered wheelchairs and scooters for people who have severe disabilities, who are unable to obtain them from statutory sources or afford to buy them themselves. We aim to reach and help people who, quite simply have nowhere else to turn. We are the only charity that provides such broad support, regardless of age or cause of disabilities. Our work does not stop at raising the funds. We organise the medical assessments, arrange the purchase, delivery, insurance and follow up any problems. Consider for a moment, the joy of being in total control of your body, to have the physical means to go where you like, when you like - do we take all this for granted? Usually we do. It is only when a friend, a member of our family or we ourselves risk losing our mobility that it becomes a reality. If you think it would be devastating to have to live in a wheelchair, I can tell you that there is something much worse, not having a wheelchair when you are unable to walk. Believe me there are many, many people in this situation who write to us for help, some of whom have had no way of leaving their home for several years. Your help will make a real difference. Molly Ollys aim to support emotionally and financially, where appropriate children 0-18 with terminal or life threatening illnesses and to advise and assist their families .

Moor Park provides an education to children aged 3 months - 13 years. We support a number of our children, who for whatever reaons need some extra support, through Bursaries.

Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a rapidly progressive illness and kills six people a day in the UK alone. It leaves people unable to walk, talk or feed themselves, but intellect usually remains unaffected.  The MND Association funds vital research and provides care and support to those affected by MND.

MOVE provide practical and online support to people living with and beyond cancer. We focus our services on children and young people living with and beyond cancer and also a wider age range through our new 5k Your Way, Move Against Cancer initiative linked to parkrun.

Move The World (MTW) is a UK based charity, founded in 2016, focused on community development and Global Citizenship education in the Ga West region of Ghana, West Africa. Our mission is to educate youth in Ghana to be active Global Citizens. We do this by delivering Global Citizenship Education programmes in schools and community settings, using the UN’s 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as learning themes. Students, young adults and teachers engage with each other in experiential activities to build life skills whilst learning about local and global issues.

In 1993, a community in Nottingham, moved by the devastation of the Bosnian war, sprang into action. A small group of volunteers began collecting money, clothes and medicine for the people of Bosnia. Muslim Hands, an international aid agency and NGO, grew from this grass roots movement and since these first efforts, we have responded to countless more emergencies, as well as establishing long term projects such as schools, healthcare clinics and livelihood programmes worldwide. We are working in over 50 countries and have field offices in over 30 of these. My Body Back Project provides specialist healthcare to women who have experienced sexual violence. Based in London and Glasgow, our sexual health and maternity clinics are designed to meet the needs of women who, as a result of their trauma, feel they cannot access traditional services.

Doddie Weir OBE was one of rugby’s most recognisable personalities. He earned 61 caps for Scotland during a successful playing career, represented the British and Irish Lions on their successful tour to South Africa in 1997, and won championships with his two club sides, Melrose and Newcastle Falcons. In June 2017 the Scot revealed he was suffering from Motor Neuron Disease. From the outset, Doddie was driven to help fellow sufferers and seek ways to further research into this, as yet, incurable disease. In November 2017, Doddie and his trustees launched the registered charity, My Name’5 Doddie Foundation. Our vision is simple: A World Free of MND.

My WiSH Charity enhances the care patients at the West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust receive. This comprises of; West Suffolk Hospital, Newmarket Community Hospital and community services both in health centres and people’s homes across Suffolk. We fundraise for all hospital wards, departments, and services, supporting everything from emergency to the elderly, bones to babies, and cataract to cancer care. West Suffolk Hospital looks after a population of over 280,000, so raising money to help enhance the care the community receive is vital.

MyBnk is a financial education charity dedicated to creating a financially fluent population. We believe that financial literacy should be considered a right for all because the language of money is a language for life. Everyone needs to be able to manage their money. Yet almost two-thirds of young adults do not recall receiving any financial education at all, and 53 per cent are worried that they will never be financially secure. Poor financial literacy is central to many problems people face today, including rising mental health issues, homelessness and unemployment. MyBnk aims to bridge this gap, working with over 40,000 young people and adults across the UK every year, delivering expert-led, high-impact financial education programmes on topics such as saving, debt and student finance. We want to bring the language of finance to life so that everyone can navigate their money with confidence, no matter where they started.

Our teams take the time to really get to know the family and fully understand their wishes. We offer them vital respite support, giving them the chance to recharge their batteries and regroup in a calm, fun and welcoming environment. In times of emergency Naomi House & Jacksplace is there, giving families the help they need through difficult times. And at the end of a child or young person's life, we pull out all the stops to give them a peaceful and dignified end, surrounded by family members. This standard of care costs money; £7 million per year to be precise.
