WE CURRENTLY WORK WITH OVER 2000 UK AND IRISH REGISTERED CHARITIES.

Some of our challenges are operated exclusively in aid of one particular charity, but where you see the words “in aid of any charity”, you can raise funds for any cause that you feel passionate about, as long as they are a UK or Irish registered charity, and they authorise you to fundraise in their name.

We will help to get the authorisation for you to fundraise, so choose from one of the many charities on our database, or if you don’t find them listed, you can give us some contact details when you book and we’ll get in touch with them about becoming a charity partner.

Please type in the name (or part of the name) of the charity below in the ‘search term’ field below. If the name is a direct match, it will appear at the top of the results list. i.e. if you type Cancer, Cancer UK will appear towards the top of the results, British Cancer UK will appear lower down, and The UK Foundation of Lung Cancer Charities will appear even further down. So please try the exact match for the first few words to make it easier to find your charity. If you type a search term that is not in the name of the charity, but is in the description about the charity, it will appear after all of the above named results.

We’re MQ, the UK’s leading mental health research charity. Right now, our understanding of mental illness is nowhere near where it needs to be. Through research, we can inspire the next great shift in healthcare. One in four of us experiences mental illness each year, yet our knowledge is so limited that it can take an average of ten years to get help after symptoms first develop. Many treatments and interventions are ineffective. Side effects from medications can be exhausting. And a frustrating period of trial-and-error is often needed to reach a solution. Think of the huge advances made through research, from HIV to cancer. Treatments for these, and many other diseases, are unrecognisable compared to thirty years ago. We’re committed to delivering an equivalent transformation in our response to mental illness. With your help, we can create a world where mental illnesses are understood, effectively treated, and one day prevented.

In 1993, a community in Nottingham, moved by the devastation of the Bosnian war, sprang into action. A small group of volunteers began collecting money, clothes and medicine for the people of Bosnia. Muslim Hands, an international aid agency and NGO, grew from this grass roots movement and since these first efforts, we have responded to countless more emergencies, as well as establishing long term projects such as schools, healthcare clinics and livelihood programmes worldwide. We are working in over 50 countries and have field offices in over 30 of these. By working closely with our partners and offices on the ground, we are able to distribute aid in an effective, efficient, transparent and wholly accountable manner and to make a lasting difference to the communities we work with. MyBnk is a financial education charity dedicated to creating a financially fluent population. We believe that financial literacy should be considered a right for all because the language of money is a language for life. Everyone needs to be able to manage their money. Yet almost two-thirds of young adults do not recall receiving any financial education at all, and 53 per cent are worried that they will never be financially secure. Poor financial literacy is central to many problems people face today, including rising mental health issues, homelessness and unemployment. MyBnk aims to bridge this gap, working with over 40,000 young people and adults across the UK every year, delivering expert-led, high-impact financial education programmes on topics such as saving, debt and student finance. We want to bring the language of finance to life so that everyone can navigate their money with confidence, no matter where they started.
