The National Animal Welfare Trust is a rescue and re-homing charity with five centres across the South of England.  It is home to a surprisingly wide variety of animals, primarily dogs and cats, but also farm animals and small domestic pets too.  It provides food, warmth and veterinary treatment to those animals in great need of care, prior to finding them their forever home.

The charity also provides long-term support for Cerebral Palsy Nepal’s Bhaktaphur Mother’s Group. In addition, New Futures Nepal provides a lifeline scheme which enables the provision of financial aid to projects that support individuals, organisations, and communities in Nepal who are experiencing hardship and require immediate help. For instance, the charity provided temporary shelter to rural communities following the 2015 earthquake, and funded pandemic aid for Everest porter families during to 2020/21 COVID-19 pandemic.
