Join David Millar, legendary professional road racing cyclist, on either a 50 mile or 100 mile road biking route, to raise vital funds for HEROES, a new charity founded by NHS workers, for NHS workers.
HEROES exist to support the welfare and wellbeing of those fighting to keep us healthy and safe during the COVID-19 crisis, and beyond.
You can choose between a 50 mile and a 100-mile route (both starting and finishing in Brighton), with about 1,000m of ascent, and 1,000m of descent for the full 100 mile route.
The route goes through the heart of this historic region, and the full 100-mile route will see you climb the famous Tennyson Lane, a favourite walking area of the great poet, before descending back towards Brighton through the stunning South Downs National Park.
The cycle route includes some of the very best country roads for cycling that the area has to offer, and with numerous checkpoints along the route you will feel well supported throughout.
This is your chance to help our NHS HEROES whilst having a fun day and ride out with Tour de France cyclist David Millar.
You will be fully supported along the way, with water and snack stops, packed lunch, cycle leaders, mechanics, support vehicles and emergency medical back up. You’ll also be provided with GPX route directions as well as having the route marked, and finishers medal.
Be a Hero and support our NHS HEROES.
