The challenge

  • A 30km journey taking in the Thames path and key London schemes
  • Walk past iconic sights including Houses of Parliament, Battersea Power Station and St Paul’s Cathedral
  • Join as a team or individual
  • Perfect urban challenge while socialising with other property professionals
  • Option to join the group at lunch for a 15km challenge, starting at Marble Arch.

Take part in this tough one- day urban challenge that takes you right through the heart of London. With a challenging distance of 30km to cover (or a 15km half-distance option), this challenge is a fantastic test of your stamina and will leave you with an incredible sense of achievement.

The starting point will be hosted by Quadrant at their Osmo scheme in Battersea. You will need to arrive at the registration point for 07.45 to meet the team, receive your safety briefing, and then begin the trek at 08:15.  The trek will take you along the Thames footpath, past Battersea Power station and Battersea Park, before crossing to the north of the river. You will visit Grosvenor’s the Pantechnicon before stoping briefly for some much-needed refreshments in Belgrave Gardens.  Lunch will be by Marble Arch, kindly hosted by The Portman Estate and X+Why, where you will be joined by those participating in the afternoon portion of the trek.  The afternoon will take you past canals, parks and landmarks, with stops at the NLA’s London Centre and Derwent London’s White Chapel Building, before you reach the sight of Canary Wharf and your finish point. Here you will celebrate the successful completion of your challenge before heading home.
