During this incredibly tough but rewarding challenge, you will trek up the 4 highest mountains in The Lake District over a 16 hour period. These mountains are all over 3000ft high, giving the challenge its name.
The Lakes 3000 Challenge sees participants climb the peaks of Scafell, Scafell Pike, Helvellyn and Skiddaw in turn, whilst being driven from the foot of one mountain to the next. The total ascent is over 12542ft.
This is a difficult challenge and should not be taken lightly. The terrain is extremely varied involving some steep ascents and descents, long distances and little sleep. It is a challenge suitable for those who are physically fit and who are experienced walkers.
This challenge will be for exclusive groups only, with a maximum group size of 12 and minimum of 6. For more information don't hesitate to contact us at challenges@charitychallenge.com or on 0208 346 0500.
