How to fund your challenge

This page provides you details of the costs of your challenge.

The costs below are per person.

SELF FUNDERS: The full cost of this challenge is £245. You will be required to pay the registration fee of £60 at the time of booking and the final balance of £185 which is due 5 weeks before departure (18/02/2022). You will receive fundraising advice and sponsorship forms and be asked to raise as much as you can for Arthur Rank Hospice Charity. As you have covered the full cost of the challenge, 100% of this fundraising will be retained by Arthur Rank Hospice Charity.

MINIMUM SPONSORSHIP OPTION: You will be required to pay the registration fee of £60 at the time of booking and have a commitment to raise £395 for Arthur Rank Hospice Charity. You should send your sponsorship money to Arthur Rank Hospice Charity as you raise it. At least 80% of the commitment (£316) must be sent to the charity 7 weeks before departure (by 04/02/2022), and the remaining 20% (£79) within 4 weeks of completing the challenge (by 23/04/2022). If you achieve your commitment, Arthur Rank Hospice Charity will then pay the balance of your expedition costs (which will not exceed 49% of your commitment). The charity benefits by keeping the remaining money and every pound over and above that you raise.

The charity benefits by keeping the remaining sponsorship money and every pound over and above that you raise.

Raising the sponsorship: Thank you for your interest in Arthur Rank Hospice Charity. We work closely with all of our fundraisers and challengers to help you reach the target you set. With a dedicated 'challengers' member of staff, backed by an experienced fundraising team, we can offer you a wealth of advice and support.

By fundraising through your challenge you will help the hospice to support people in Cambridgeshire by providing end of life care, counselling and support for adult patients with life limiting illness. Our care helps patients and families to make every moment count.

Each year the Charity must fundraise over £8.66 million to meet our financial commitments at the Hospice and to continue to provide all our services free of charge to those who benefit from them.

Typical group size: The typical group size is 20 - 50 participants.
