Important information about the Taormina Beach Extension extension
Day 5: Transfer from Catania to Hotel in Taormina
After saying goodbye to the rest of the group at the airport you will be transferred from Catania to your hotel for 3 nights in beautiful Taormina. This evening you can have dinner in one of the many restaurants in town at your leisure. (Dinner not included).
Day 6: Taormina
Rise for Breakfast in one of the finest 3 star hotels in Taormina located on Corso Umberto I, whence it derives its name, which is actually the ancient Roman Via Valeria that crossed through the historic village of Taormina from Porta Messina to Porta Catania. Choose to walk around the pleasant pedestrian area, full of lively and characteristic picturesque shops and cafes. Corso Umberto I is the gateway to the historic city from Hotel del Corso, in perfect harmony with the splendid panorama of the sea over Naxos Bay Gardens and Mt. Etna, crowned by the ramparts of the medieval tower of the Ducal Palace of Saint Stefano. Or enjoy a well deserved day of sunbathing on the beaches of Mazzarò, the Isola Bella (a nature reserve ), Spisone and Mazzeo (which can be easily reached from the Hotel del Corso on the shuttle buses that depart from Porta Catania, and where the hotel’s guests can find partner beach facilities). Those who are seeking culture and nightlife can spend the evening among the lanes, squares and gardens of Taormina, all tinged with art and history. (Lunch and Dinner not included). (B)
Day 7: Time to Relax
This extension is designed for you to enjoy and relax at you leisure. If you do not want to spend another day relaxing you will be able to find a list of activities that can be booked locally around Taormina from the hotel ranging from bike tours, taking in the beautiful Etna Sunset tour to visits to neighbouring cities of Palermo and cefalu.(B)
Day 8: Taormina to UK
Start your day with your breakfast on the Terrace before a gentle last stroll around the city before being transferring to Catania for your flight back to the UK. (B)

Please note that this extension is subject to minimum numbers and flight availability and should be booked no later than 10 weeks prior to departure. In some cases, a surcharge may need to be applied in which case we will inform you prior to confirming your booking. Full payment must be received no later than 8 weeks prior to departure or your place on the extension may be cancelled. All bookings will be confirmed no later than 6 weeks prior to departure.
The advertised costs for this extension are per person on twin sharing basis. If you are a solo passenger, We will accommodate you in a room with someone of the same sex.
