Your challenge will begin on Sunday night by meeting your challenge leaders and the rest of the group in the YHA Coniston Holly How for your pre-challenge welcome and safety briefing.
Accommodation is provided in same-sex dormitories at the YHA Coniston Holly How.
Please note: Dinner is not included for you on this first night. Please make your own plans to eat before arriving at the hostel.
This morning after breakfast, you will take on a challenging 10 mile ciruclar loop walk to the summit of the Old Man of Coniston and then along the ridgeline before descending between the old ruins of the mines that used to dominate this landscape.
With over 900m of steep ascent this will be a tough and fantastic achievement for the first day of your challenge.
After the trek finishes, you will transfer back to the hostel for dinner and overnight stay.
You will wake early for a pre-challenge breakfast before beginning the adventure with the tough bike section up the hill and into Grizedale Forest. The forest circuit in the forest is one of the Lake District's most famous mountain biking locations. You can guarantee you will be well tested on the forest tracks before descending back to Coniston.
Next up you will challenge yourself to a circular kayak loop on Coniston Water before you finish this incredible challenge and celebrate your achievements.
After completing the challenge the group will be transferred to new accommodation. This transfer and accommodation is being organised by ED Broking. Charity Challenge's services end upon completion of the kayak section.
Breakfast is being organised at the accommodation by ED Broking. After this you are free to depart.
