Following the success of last year’s Construction Tour De Cornwall, Type Ten (formerly Pristine London Construction Group) & London AC Ltd are once again collaborating with Carly and Joe Cole’s 11 Foundation to offer novice and experienced cyclists the chance to join an epic three day charity cycle challenge from London to Amsterdam.
Joe Cole is spearheading the challenge as part of his 11 Challenges for the 11 Foundation commitment, and will be joined by former team-mates and a cohort of construction industry professionals lead by Spencer Walshe and Terry Hussey.
Participants will push themselves through a 180 mile course that starts in Central London, traverses through the Hook of Holland, Rotterdam and The Hague before eventually arriving in Amsterdam to celebrate everyone’s incredible achievement.
HELPING YOUNG PEOPLE BUILD A BETTER FUTURE.
Funds raised will support the 11 Foundation’s work on behalf of OnSide, and the Future Youth Zone in Barking and Dagenham.
In response to the devastating economic, health and family pressures caused by the pandemic, the 11 Foundation is supporting disadvantaged and vulnerable young people who are struggling to cope with mental health issues and rising unemployment.
This event will enable youth charity specialists to ensure hundreds of ‘at risk’ young people will have a safe place to go, where they can be treated equally and be given vital education and empowerment opportunities. Targeted interventions will boost self-confidence and equip young people with essential life skills that they need to help build themselves a better future.
