The costs below are per person.
MINIMUM SPONSORSHIP
In order to participate in the South Africa Community Challenge you will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit of £400 at the time of booking, and to commit to raising a minimum sponsorship of £4,000 for Age UK and Barnardo’s (including matched funding).
All your fundraising will need to be completed before departure.

The following items are not included in your challenge and will be at your own expense:
Travel Insurance
You will need to organise travel insurance in order to take part in the challenge and this must cover manual labour on a building site, plus medical (emergency, evacuation and repatriation). You can purchase our recommended comprehensive insurance policy for £76 at the time of booking, which covers you for the specific nature of this challenge. If you have your own insurance, you will need to sign a waiver before you travel.
Matched Time Scheme: To support employees in becoming involved in charity and community activities, Santander provides a Matched Time Scheme. Staff can claim up to 35 hours a year to undertake volunteering activities. Please click here for full details.
