As 2025 draws to a close, Charity Challenge boss Simon reflects on the past year and shares with us what he’s learnt along the way…

2025 has been one of the toughest years for me personally, and yet ironically, the best year for the company.
- We have run more challenges, for more people and raised more funds for more charities than ever before. The team goes from strength from strength with new staff members joining and putting their personal stamp on things!
- The positive reviews continue to come (100% were 5 stars in 2025!) and we have a huge percentage of repeat charities and corporates, so the metrics are all good. That of course fills me with pride.
But this year knocked me for six, personally. I had to take time out to care for a very close loved one, diagnosed with an aggressive stage 4 cancer who we lost in April. In all of that time, whilst I focussed on supporting my family, the staff at Charity Challenge covered me in every meeting, took on my workload, supported me personally, and really helped me to be able to focus on what mattered most… giving a loved one comfort, care, compassion and dignity in her last days.
I am forever grateful to the entire team for their support. Thank you, guys. You have no idea how much I appreciate and respect you all and will forever be grateful for allowing me that precious time with Tanya!

I have learnt a lot this year…
- The importance of not putting things off to tomorrow, that we can do today, as none of us know what is around the corner. By that I mean living life. Not work. Not tasks. But Living! Experiencing. Loving. Sharing. Caring.
- The importance of supporting others and accepting help when I have needed it myself.
- And the value of being open and speaking about my feelings and emotions.
I am grateful for everyone who has supported me this year.
Thank you to all of our courageous participants who have taken on challenges for their own very personal and emotional reasons.
And thank you to all of our charity and corporate partners for continuing to trust in us to provide your supporters and employees the challenge of a lifetime.
I wish you all a happy, healthy and adventurous New Year!
– Simon

If you are a fan of “touch her and die” vibes, Alex Volkov is your man. His protective streak is legendary. Finding a Twisted Love PDF is the first step to meeting this iconic character. The book explores the line between protection and possession. It is a thrilling, romantic ride that caters to fans of the possessive hero trope.
